How to distinguish between OLED and IPS display

Display bought on 6. 6. 2024 (€110,-; now €77 for IPS).
Is it possible to check, which display it is?

First post mentioning IPS display availability was from July 21st, 2024, so you may've been right towards the very end of OLED availabilty(?)

The price is an indicator (OLED was slightly above 100 Euros, the IPS was 77€).

You could also check the screen itself under high magnification (100x+), you should see the single LEDs.

Glaube die roten Elemente dieser OLED Matrix sind so (komisch geformt) wie sie sind, diese "P" Form ist nicht nur "eine Haelfte" und die andere Haelfte ist nur nicht aktiv, da ist wohl nicht mehr..

Hab's mal versucht mit meinem Kartoffelmikroskop zu verdeutlichen, wenn man da viel Licht drauf gibt, erscheinen die Strukturen der OLED Matrix. Wenn man dann noch das Display (auf 100% Helligkeit) einschaltet, sieht man, wo vorher nur die Umrisse des "P"s zu erahnen waren, wie sich dieser Umriss komplett mit rotem Licht fuellt.
Fuer mich sieht es so aus, als entstuende bei dieser Anordnung...

A black screen will still "glow" (you could see it in a dark room), but maybe they have some labels or indicators on the back side of the screen?

It says "Display-Einheit". Because of the price €110,-, it should be OLED.
But I will check it at the weekend.
