Shiftphone 6m doesn't stay black while calling

I have recently realized that the screen of my Shiftphone 6m doesn't stay black while calling someone. Therefore I "click" on things while calling. I assume it's a problem of the proximity sensor. I used a Fairphone 2 before and know that there I could calibrate it. Is this posssible aswell? Other workarounds that might improve it?

I assume your system is up-to-date?
Since February shift OS has a feature called "double tap 2 wake" and imo it can be the reason for the behaviour described... Try to deactivate it under Settings -> Display -> Extend -> Tap to wake (the exact naming in English might be different, since my 6m is running in German...)
