ignore calls on SIM2 (Shift8 / ShiftOS-L / DualSim)

I'm just moving data and configuration from a Shift6mq to the Shift8 Upgrade.

I'm using two SIMs:

• SIM1: calls + sms
• SIM2: data only (but the SIM is able to receive calls)

On the Shift6mq ShiftOS-L I had a configuration to only get calls for SIM1 signaled: For SIM2 I selected a connection mode that only allow data (like LTE) disabling 3G by doing so and disabled VoLTE.

Result: No way for SIM2 to receive calls, but still usable for data.

The needed settings do not exist on ShiftOS-L on the Shift8 anymore.

How could I disable calling for SIM2 on the Shift8 / ShiftOS-L?

Why do the needed settings dont exist? Im only using one sim but i seem to have all those settings for the one sim card dedicated

They exist:

1. Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs > Your primary SIMs:
   • Calls > Sim 1
   • Texts > Sim 1
   • Mobile data > Sim 2
2. Sim 2:
   • MMS Messages > Off
   • VoLTE > Off
   • Wi-Fi Calling:
     • Use Wi-Fi calling > Of
   • Operator video calling > Off
3. Telephone > *#*#4636#*#*
   • Phone Info > Select phone index
   • Phone 1 > Set preferred network type
   • NR/LTE

You can change the pref. Net. Type also in the sim settings, or does that change when you have two sims installed?

Thanks a lot! That solved the problem - or better to write: recovered the work-around.

The problem is that it isn't possible to tell the phone to ignore voice calling for one sim.

Well, I didn't see it there and never tried with one SIM only installed. I think I would have found it, because I know the setting from the Shift6mq / ShiftOS-L - but I didn't switch the SIMs back to the old phone to verify that. Anyway the *# code helped a lot.
