Collaborate with Teufel Mynd?

Could Shift collaborate with a fully open-source speaker Teufel Mynd? Mynd is a portable speaker with highly modular, repairable and customizable design. It's open-source hardware (i.e. CADs, schematics are under CC BY-SA 4.0), runs with open-source firmware and app. This allow anyone, including Shift, to develop new speakers on that software stack, be cross-compatibility and/or new hardware modules on Mynd itself.

Hi and thanks for bringing this up! Our developers are big fans of the Mynd project. An open hardware and software stack that anyone can build on is very much in line with how we think about devices, and it’s been on our wish list for a while.

That said, our current priorities are on other projects, so a collaboration isn’t something we can take on right now. But we’re keeping an eye on it, and we appreciate the suggestion.
