Non coverage permanently

Hi there,

I've recieved my Shiftphone four weeks ago and I installed the OS-L version. Last thursday, I started loosing coverage. I had to restart the phone to get it back, but, in a few hours I lost it completely. I've deleted all data (reset factory setings), but it didn't work. It recognises my net company, but it's like if I had the phone on plane mode or I were in a place without coverage. So I can't use the phone, I just can use it with WiFi...
So, if anyone knows what could it be, it would be great.

Thank you so much,
Maria

I think I have similar issues, normally it hels just to use flight mode, then it snaps back. which provider do you use? are you on the latest SOS-L version? I havent had any problems for a while now...

I've tryed to turn on and off flight mode, to restart, and now I'll try to re-install the latest SOS-L version. I think I had the latest one. I have an spanish provider, but that's not the problem because my sim works in another devices.

no it might be a problem, since not the provider itself is the issue, but the communication between device and the provider might be flawed.
best solution I think is to write directly to the support, flag at as "important" or somehting, put your exact device (8.0 or 8.1) and your build, and your provider, and ask for help.
they should take care of it :)

I suppose it could be something with the APN. Are the APN-settings correct? Or if so, it could be that the provider ‘certifies’ every single model from a particular manufacturer and blacklists all other devices (strangely enough, that’s what Swiss providers do; I’ve no idea what the point of it is).

apn should be fine, since it works for some time, then stops? I second the provider thing, I still think the best address is the shift support

Thank you both, I'm going to contact with the shift support. The APN-settings are ok because it use to work for three weeks. It's a mistery... XD

It recognises my company "Som Connexió", which operates through "Yoigo" (that is also ok in the APN). But it doesn't recognise my phone number (but I don't know if that's a problem).
