Trouble with Emergency call

Hi all,

I want to share a serious problem with my SHIFTphone 8.1 (ShiftOS 6.5 G).

When I try to call the Emergency Services (112 or 101 in BE), the call occurs in the "unreachable" background of my phone without opening the "Call app".

Consequently, I'm unable to use the number pad needed to choose the Police, Firefighter, etc., so the call remains on hold, waiting for me to choose a service via an unavailable number.

This represents a huge problem, as the phone is unable to reach emergency services.

Could you please fix this ASAP?

Hi, I hope that you are well and were still able to manage with the emergency, even though your phone wasn't cooperating as it should. Please write that to the support, since this is just a user forum. Ideally as a bug report with all steps leading to the bug. I.e. starting from the lock screen or the unlocked home screen and then go step by step. Make sure to include version numbers.

In my OS there is this option: If you press fast 5 times the power on off this will start an emergency call. Does this work different? (For me this opens in the foreground)

Is it possible to use the slide down menu?
